My journey with my personal Zen Meditation and Mindfulness practice has been a journey of connecting with my body, mind and breath, it has made me more aware of my worries and concerns, my aches and pains, my fears and anxieties as well as all the things I am grateful for, the precious moments, my positive feelings and happiness. By becoming aware of all of me, my good and bad days, my ups and downs, I have got to see that no day is the same, each moment is changing and adapting, moving and flowing. By seeing this change I can accept that no moment is forever, that I can accept and embrace every part of me and that it’s ok to feel fear, it’s ok to feel inner turmoil, to embrace all the parts of me that I try to hide from or deny, if I accept every part of me the good and the bad then maybe I can be free.
