Reiki is all about moving into a state of balance and being in a space of divine unconditional love! To be in this space of balance and love you need to practice energy work on yourself regularly – this is the foundation of your Reiki practice.

Energy techniques help you to heal on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. They cleanse your energy system, build up your personal energy levels, allow you to feel the energy flow around you and develop your intuition. I include the following practices in both Reiki Training and the Ki-Energy Flow Yoga and Meditation classes to bring balance and harmony to body, mind and soul.

Prayer pose: To start and finish your meditation or treatment in state of gratitude and respect, allowing you to stay focused on your practice.

Hara breathing: Takes your focus away from busy thoughts and into the body. It keeps you grounded and connected to energy.

The three Ki’s; Earth Ki, Heaven Ki and Heart Ki: Earth Ki represents the physical body, Heaven Ki the mind and Heart Ki the soul, so working on the three Ki’s balances body, mind and soul.
