Nen Zen – 6.30pm – 7pm – online – monthly – 15 Nov & 20 Dec
Nen is the Japanese term for Mindfulness and Zen means Meditation, so ‘Nen Zen’ is Mindfulness Meditation. This will be a short online meditation where I offer you the opportunity to reconnect through a zen story, guided or silent meditation and a dedication at the end of the practice.

Zen Yoga is a mindful practice that helps us listen to our body, flow with the breath and connect with our internal Ki-energy for inner wellbeing. We work with the meridians of the body and practice asana’s for each season.
Mindful Moments – mindfulness and creativity – 1.30pm – 2.30pm (The Creative Hub, Newport)
A chance to explore mindfulness and creativity, promoting feelings of wellbeing and a calmer state of mind. Let go of your idea of what art and creativity is and just be free to express yourself. (see Independent Arts for more details)
Zen mini retreat – 11am – 12.30pm – 6 December – for Rohatsu – the anniversary of the Buddha’s Enlightenment.
Zen practices for healing, wellbeing and insight. Practices include: Zazen (sitting meditation) Kinhin (walking meditation) Yogachara (union practice), Taiso , Doin or Hachi Danken (mindful movement). We focus on tuning inwards to find our true inner being and a deep sense of connection.
